SolidWorks Sheet Metal Design
SolidWorks is a great choice for designing your prototype sheet metal parts. As
the primary CAD system used by Rapid Sheet Metal, we process hundreds of sheet
metal parts rapidly through it each month. SolidWorks can import and export
numerous file types from other 2D and 3D CAD programs including our preferred
format: STEP.
SolidWorks also has an API for custom programming in Visual Basic
or C.
