How do we count Day 1?
Day 1 starts when we receive a PO, Credit card, Cash, or Check if this is before 7:00 AM est time then that day counts. In all other
scenarios the next day is counted as Day 1.
Expedited 48 Hour Ship
At times Rapid Sheet Metal Inc. is able to ship parts in 48 hours after receipt of
order and acceptable 3D files. In order to do so, we require a 3D model at the
RFQ stage that can be turned into a flat without engineering. This applies for
unfinished parts only; plating and painting add time. Hardware can be inserted
if it is in stock or can be obtained within 24 hours.
Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST. For example, an order received at 11:00
AM on a Monday would ship no later than Wednesday for Thursday delivery via
FedEx Overnight or UPS Red.
Expedited 3 Business Day Ship
A 3D model is required at the RFQ stage that can be turned into a flat without
engineering.
Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST. For example, an order received at 11:00
AM on a Monday would ship no later than Thursday for Friday delivery via FedEx
Overnight or UPS Red.
Expedited 4 or 5 Business Day Ship
A 3D model is preferred at the RFQ stage that can be turned into a flat without
engineering.
Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST. For example, an order received at 11:00
AM on a Monday would ship no later than the following Monday for Tuesday
delivery via FedEx Overnight or UPS Red.
We offer 6 days for unfinished parts without tooling.
- Add 2 work days for each plating or powder coating requirement
- Add 2 Work days for basic tooling
